Gareth is the youngest person to be nominated for the Tony Award for Sound Design for his work on Trevor Nunn’s Broadway production of A Little Night Music, starring Angela Lansbury and Catherine Zeta-Jones. Gareth is also the youngest person to be nominated for the Laurence Olivier Award for Best Sound Design for his work on Terry Johnson’s End of the Rainbow, for which he received a second Tony Award upon its Broadway transfer.

Gareth has designed over 100 commercial musicals in London’s West End and around the world. Current running shows include: Disney’s Little Mermaid worldwide; Sister Act in five countries; Hairspray around the world; the world premiere of Top Hat, Let It Be, Merrily We Roll Along, Uncle Vanya and The Woman in Black, all in London’s West End; Evita and Spring Break in Las Vegas; 9 to 5, The Rocky Horror Show and Midnight Tango on tour in the UK; End of the Rainbow in Los Angeles; and the Cats, Strictly Come Dancing and Jesus Christ Superstar international arena tours.
